G'day. We are Emily Minter and Andrew Longmire. In mid-2007 we packed our motorbike into a crate and sent it from Australia across the seas. Since then we've had a brilliant 'autumn of our lives', chased south by the colour of the leaves in Europe, as well as a taste of the wet season, on the backroads of South East Asia. We have juiced the South American summer for all it's worth, cramming in as many adventures as we could...

Cusco

Cusco is a pretty town - an array of well-kept adobe buildings, spacious plazas and cobblestone streets. This, and the fact that it is the launching pad to Machu Picchu, makes it the tourist capital of Peru.

We spent a couple of days there, making the most of it's tourist-delights :)

PS While I've been updating this blog, Andy has been engrossed in his new favorite website: All About Beards. Im peeking - he's filling out an online questionnaire, and has rated is beard as 'well above average', and his level of satisfaction as 'very satisfied'. Oh me oh my.
